Karan Johar has unveiled his new movie, ‘Dhadak 2’ with Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. The film will be directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Johar.
The announcement was made by Johar on his Instagram handle, and he wrote in the caption, “This tale is a little different because there was a king, there was a queen-the caste was different and the story ends. Dhadak 2 is all set to open in theatres on November 22, 2024.”

By watching the teaser video, it seems that the movie is woven around the love story of two individuals with different castes and the social barrier they will be facing. This is produced by Dharma Productions, Cloud 9, and Zee Studios.
Dhadak movie was released in the year 2018. The movie was an adaptation of the Marathi film Sairat. Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter debuted in this movie as lead actors. It was directed by Shashank Khaitan and was jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.
