Song tops Indian streaming charts
Along with its global success, FA9LA has also emerged as the most-streamed song in India. The track currently holds the top position on Spotify’s Top 50 chart, reflecting its massive popularity among Indian listeners.
Flipperachi thanks Indian fans
A few days earlier, Flipperachi shared a video on his Instagram Stories expressing gratitude to his fans. “Big shoutout to India for making FA9LA the number one track viral on Spotify,” he said. He also shared the link to the song’s official YouTube release and added, “Love you, India.”
The viral dance sequence featuring Akshaye Khanna was not part of the original plan. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly revealed in an interview with Mid-Day that Akshaye was initially meant to simply walk through the dancers and take his seat.
“Seeing the mood of the scene and the dancers’ energy, Akshaye suggested he would dance a bit,” Ganguly said. “None of us knew what he would do. He entered the scene, took it from there, and performed spontaneously.”
