The registration for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2025 will close on March 12, 2025. Launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, this initiative offers Indian youth 12-month internships designed to provide valuable work experience and skill-building opportunities.
According to the Ministry, each intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, along with a one-time joining grant of Rs 6,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age between 21 and 24 years as of the application deadline.
- Must have completed at least secondary education (Class 10), higher secondary education (Class 12), or a diploma/degree (e.g., BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, etc.).
- Candidates must not be enrolled in full-time employment or full-time education (candidates in online or distance learning programs are eligible).
Insurance Coverage:
Interns will be covered under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, with premiums paid by the government.
Participating Companies:
Interns will have the chance to work with top companies across various sectors, including Reliance Industries Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, The Times Group, ITC Limited, and Hindustan Unilever Limited.

- Browse available internships and apply for up to five positions based on your preferences (location, sector, role).
Upon successful completion of the internship, participants will receive a certificate from the host company, boosting their employability and professional network.
