UPSC CSE Result 2023 Highlights: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services 2023 exam today. Candidates who attended the personality test can view their results on the official websites – upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in. Candidates can check their results at the official website – upsc.gov.in. This year, Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan have bagged All India Rank 1 and 2 respectively, followed by Donuru Ananya Reddy at the third position.
The UPSC Civil Services Examination for 2023 were held on May 28 last year. Successful candidates from the Prelims then partipated in the Mains examination, held on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023, with sessions running from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The results for the UPSC CSE Mains were declared on December 8. The interviews or personality tests for the CSE 2023 were conducted in three phases spanning from January 2 to April 9.
The UPSC is looking forward to fill 1,105 positions across various central government services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others. It is worth noting that the overall pass percentage of women has seen an uptick in the last fea years.

In the UPSC 2023 exam results announced on Tuesday, UP girl Aishwaryam Prajapati secured the 10th rank.
In a post on social media, UPSC topper Aditya expressed: “A journey I will cherish lifelong, full of gratitude to all those who stood by me throughout. Dreams do come true.”
In the top 25 toppers list, male candidates take the lead with 15 positions, while 10 women also secure spots among the top achievers.

The Commission has recommended 352 women for appointment to various services.
The UPSC Civil Services Result 2023 includes 31 candidates from the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) at the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). Additionally, AIR 9, Nausheen, is also from this institute.
A total of 10,16,850 candidates applied for the UPSC CSE 2023 exam, out of which 5,92,141 candidates appeared for the examination.
Candidates can seek any information or clarification regarding their examinations or recruitments during working hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., either in person or via telephone at the following numbers: 23385271, 23381125, or 23098543.
The scores will be made available on the website within 15 days from today, that is the date of result announcement.

According to an official notification from UPSC, the candidacy of 355 recommended candidates has been maintained as provisional.
A total of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment.

In February, Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, caught the internet's attention by sharing a post about the challenging nature of entrance exams in India, including the JEE and UPSC CSE. Inspired by the Bollywood film "12th Fail" directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Mahindra sought more information about the difficulty level and preparation methods for these exams.
Using his former Twitter handle, Mahindra reposted a list of the world's "top toughest exams," where the UPSC exam ranked third, following the IIT JEE in second place.
In the 2021 results, all the top positions were secured by women. Shruti Sharma scored 1105 marks, Ankita Agarwal scored 1050 marks, and Gamini Singla scored 1045 marks in her final results. Sharma and Singla are assigned to Uttar Pradesh, while Agarwal is posted in West Bengal.
Students await the UPSC CSE 2024 result 2023. The results can be announced anytime this week and then candidates can check it on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Over the last two years, women have consistently secured top positions, with Ishita Kishore claiming AIR 1 in 2022, trailed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra.
The UPSC informed the Delhi High Court that it will allow candidates from the hill districts of Manipur, who initially selected Imphal as their examination center, to change it. Additionally, the state government will assist in their travel arrangements. Aspirants from these regions can opt for alternative centers in Aizawl, Mizoram; Kohima, Nagaland; Shillong, Meghalaya; Dispur, Assam; Jorhat, Assam; Kolkata, West Bengal; and Delhi. They can request a change of examination center via email from April 8 to 19.
The Civil Services (Main) examination consists of two components: a written examination and an interview/personality test. The written exam comprises nine papers of conventional essay type, among which two papers are qualifying in nature. To determine rankings and final results, marks from the compulsory papers (papers 1 to 6) and the interview/personality test are taken into account.
The PwBD candidates are allowed a total of 9 attempts for the UPSC exam.
General category candidates are given a total of chances to attempt the UPSC exam.
OBC candidates are given a total of 9 chances to attempt the UPSC exam.
