UP Board Result 2025: Evaluation process

The evaluation of nearly 3 crore answer sheets began on March 17 and concluded on April 2. The task was carried out at 261 centres under stringent guidelines to ensure accuracy and fairness in result compilation. According to UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the uploading of marks and result tabulation is complete, and an official date for the announcement will be shared soon on the board’s official website.

As per previous trends, the results for both high school and intermediate classes will be declared simultaneously. In 2024, the UP Board had announced the results on April 20.

UP Board Result 2025: Last year’s statics

Last year, girls outperformed boys in both Class 10 and 12 board exams. In high school, the pass percentage for girls stood at 93.40%, while boys recorded 86.05%. For intermediate exams, 88.42% of girls cleared the exam, compared to 77.78% of boys. It remains to be seen if this trend continues in 2025.

The toppers in the Class 10 exams last year included Prachi Nigam, who scored 591 marks, followed by Deepika Sonkar (590), and three others — Navika Singh, Swati Singh, and Dipanshi Singh Sengar — with 588 marks. In Class 12, Shubham Verma led the merit list with 489 marks, while several others closely followed with 488 and 487 marks.

Once the results are declared, students are advised to verify all personal and academic details on the digital marksheet. Any discrepancies should be reported to their respective schools or the board authorities immediately. While the online mark sheets will be valid for provisional use, original documents will be distributed later by schools.
