SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global) has unveiled the placements of its 2023 graduates from the Global MBA (GMBA) and Master of Global Business (MGB) programmes. The institution claims that its 2023 GMBA graduates have observed a substantial five-fold increase in their post-graduation salaries, with the highest package reaching Rs 72.8 lakh. The average starting salary for the GMBA class also demonstrated an impressive 33% surge from the previous year, reaching Rs 32 lakh, according to an official release.

It claims that its MGB graduates, typically fresh from undergraduate studies, witnessed a seven-fold rise in their salaries, with the top package hitting Rs 48.8 lakh. The class’s average salary also experienced a noteworthy 21% uptick from the previous year, reaching Rs 19.83 lakh. A significant portion of these graduates have secured sought-after roles in leading domestic organisations, while many others have ventured internationally, obtaining positions in prestigious companies in Dubai and Singapore. The recruitment drive involved the participation of over 129 companies globally, the release mentioned.

In a notable departure from previous years, the GMBA programme highlighted consulting as the top sector, constituting over 39% of placement offers, followed by Technology at 14%, Retail at 8% and Financial Services at 8%. Meanwhile, MGB graduates found opportunities in IT/ITES as the leading recruiting sector with 22% of placements, followed by Logistics and Supply Chain, Financial Services, and Retail. Other notable sectors included manufacturing and consulting, it added.
