PM Internship Scheme 2025 Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following educational qualifications:

ITI: Matriculation + ITI in a relevant trade

Diploma: Intermediate + AICTE-recognized diploma

Degree: Bachelor’s degree from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university

Stipend and Benefits

Interns will receive:

A monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 (credited via DBT to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts)

A one-time grant of Rs 6,000 at the beginning of the internship

Insurance coverage under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, with premiums paid by the government

Additional accidental insurance coverage may be provided by host companies
