Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Result: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairperson Anand Kishore announced the results of the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 today, November 18, at 1:45 PM. Candidates can check their results on the official website, bsebstet.com.

A total of 4,23,822 candidates appeared for the examination. This included 2,63,911 candidates for Paper 1 (Eligibility Test for Class 9-10 teachers) and 1,59,911 candidates for Paper 2 (Eligibility Test for Class 11-12 teachers). The overall pass percentage is 70.25%.

Paper 1, which covered 16 subjects in a computer-based test (CBT) format, had 1,94,697 candidates passing out of 2,63,911, achieving a pass percentage of 73.77%. Paper 2, conducted for 29 subjects, recorded a pass percentage of 64.44%.

Validity of BSTET Certificate

The BSTET certificate remains valid for seven years from the date of issuance. During this period, candidates can apply for teaching positions in Bihar’s schools. After the validity period ends, candidates must retake the BSTET to maintain their eligibility, ensuring their teaching skills and knowledge stay up to date.
