Rescue and evacuation operations are currently underway at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited refinery in the Koyali region of Vadodara, Gujarat, following a blast on Monday. The explosion resulted in rising smoke, prompting immediate evacuation of workers from the facility.

According to initial reports from the police, no fatalities or serious injuries have been reported so far. DCP Traffic Police, Jyoti Patel, confirmed, “Rescue operation is ongoing at the refinery. We have no information on any serious injuries or fatalities at this moment. We will know more as the operation proceeds. Traffic movement on the route is minimal, so no diversions were required.”
