Churu Assembly Elections 2023 LIVE Updates: BJP Harlal Saharan won the Churu assembly seat after defeating INC candidate Rafique Mandelia by a margin of 6,874 votes. Harlal Saharan secured 99,432 votes in the assembly election.
In the 2018 Assembly elections, Rajendra Rathore from BJP emerged victorious in the Churu constituency of Rajasthan. He secured the seat with 87,233 votes as compared to 85,383 votes polled in favour of Rafique Mandelia. BJP has repeated its win from the constituency.
Churu witnessed a total voter turnout of 76.83 per cent on November 25, slightly lower than the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections, when the number stood at 81.20 per cent.

As per official ECI trends, BJP leads with 71 seats, followed by Congress with 46 seats, and BSP is leading in 2 seats and RLD with one seat in Rajasthan elections 2023.
As per ECI, Congress is ahead on Kishan Pole, Chomu and Deeg-Kumher seats, while BJP has a lead on Chaksu seat, in the Assembly of 199 members.

District Election Officer Himanshu Gupta says, "The strong rooms have been unlocked. Counting of votes has begun, Congress leader Pawan Khera says, "The results will be better than our hopes and expectations. We are retaining power in both Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. We will reclaim power in Madhya Pradesh and claim power in Telangana."
Counting across 199 Assembly constituencies begins at 8 AM. It will start will postal ballots at 8 AM, EVM counting will 8 30 AM.
Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra expressed his confidence in his party's ability to form the government in the state with a full majority, on Sunday. He told ANI, "The Congress candidates have received full faith and support from the voters of Rajasthan because of our good governance." He spoke just hours before the counting of votes began.
Rajendra Rathore of BJP secured 87233 votes and won Churu constituency number 22 of Rajasthan in 2018. The closest contender was Rafique Mandelia from Congress who received 85383 votes. The difference between the winner and the runner-up in this seat in the 2018 elections was 1850 votes.
While the counting of votes is underway, the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Rajendra Rathore, states, “A new government will come into existence soon, BJP will garner a huge majority and form the government”
