Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary is located 32 km from Bikaner on the Jaisalmer road. The woods are home to a large number of black bucks, nilgai or the blue bull, chinkara, wild boar and flocks of imperial sand grouse. The picturesque lake attracts thousands of water birds. The sanctuary also houses the erstwhile hunting lodge of Bikaner.
