In view of the two-block launch of the Bow String Girder for the construction of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Udvada-VAPI and Atul-Valsad in the Mumbai division, several trains will face alterations on November 11, 2024.
Short-originate Train:
- Train No. 20907 Dadar-Bhuj Sayaji Nagri Express will short-originate from Valsad and remain cancelled between Dadar and Valsad.
Short-terminate Train:
- Train No. 09085 Borivali-Valsad MEMU will be short-terminated at Pardi and remain partially cancelled between Pardi and Valsad.
Fully Cancelled Train:
- Train Nos. 09154/09153 Valsad-Umergaon-Valsad MEMU will be fully cancelled for the day
In other news, Western Railway also scheduled a jumbo block between Mahim and Goregaon stations on Sunday, November 10, to carry out essential maintenance work. The block was in effect from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, impacting both the up and down harbour lines between these stations.
In an official statement, Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, stated that the maintenance work will involve track, signalling, and overhead equipment. During this period, several train services will be affected, including all Central Railway Harbour line trains (CSMT-Bandra-CSMT and CSMT/Panvel-Goregaon-CSMT/Panvel), along with some Churchgate-Goregaon-Churchgate slow trains.
