Attention rail passengers! Indian Railways (IR) has announced changes to the schedules of select Vande Bharat Express trains, effective January 1, 2025. Currently, 136 Vande Bharat Express trains operate across the country. Passengers are advised to check the revised timings before their journey.
The new timetable includes revised timings for four semi-high-speed trains: Train number 22499 Deoghar-Varanasi, Train number 22345 Patna-Gomti Nagar, Train number 22545 Lucknow-Dehradun, and Train number 22346 Gomti Nagar-Patna. The national transporter aims to enhance operational efficiency with these adjustments.
Updated train schedules can be accessed on the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in), through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES), or by contacting station managers and enquiry counters at relevant stations.
Deoghar-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express
Train number 22499 Deoghar-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express will now depart at 21:53 hrs instead of 21:55 hrs on the NEWC-BSB section, reaching its destination at 22:30 hrs.
Patna-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express
Similarly, Train number 22345 Patna-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express will depart at 09:05 hrs, five minutes later than its previous schedule, and reach its destination at 14:35 hrs. The arrival time over the NEWC-ML section has also been adjusted to 14:20 hrs from 14:15 hrs.
Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express
Train number 22545 Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will experience a slight delay in arrival at the LJN-DDN section, now scheduled for 13:40 hrs instead of 13:35 hrs.
Gomti Nagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express
Lastly, Train number 22346 Gomti Nagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express will arrive later at the ML-NEWC section, with the new timing set at 20:43 hrs, compared to the previous 20:35 hrs. The train will reach its destination at 23:45 hrs.
