Indian Railways has regulated the operations of several trains over Central Railway’s (CR) Pune Division. The train services will be affected between Khadki-Shivaji Nagar of the Lonavala-Pune section till November 26, 2023. The railway authorities will carry out various maintenance work such as Pre Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking work, Interlocking of Military Yard and Automatic Signalling work on the section.

In a statement, Shivraj Manaspure, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Central Railway said, “Passengers are requested to kindly bear with administration for the inconvenience caused and to please check the current running status of the train on the Railway enquiry system.”

During the maintenance work, the goods shed and Military siding at Khadki will remain closed. The loading activities at Chinchwad are also likely to suffer. In addition to the long distance trains, the zonal railways has also cancelled the service of 46 suburban services in Pune division.
