Vikran Engineering has secured an order worth Rs 2,035 crore for the development of solar projects in Maharashtra.
Vikran Engineering: New project details
As per its regulatory filing, Onix Renewables has awarded the order to the company for the development of 600 MW (AC) solar projects across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The work order, accepted on December 23, 2025, is for a turnkey EPC project.
It includes all activities from design and engineering to procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. The company added that it will also supply components such as solar PV modules and inverters for the project. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Commenting on this development, Rakesh Markhedkar, Chairman and Managing Director, Vikran Engineering, said: “This win meaningfully strengthens our order book and positions us well for sustained growth,”
The company added that the order win will enhance its renewable energy portfolio and further strengthen its presence across power transmission and distribution, water infrastructure, and railway electrification.

Vikran Engineering share price has gained over 11% intraday. Over the past one month, the company’s stock has declined by over 9%.
