SEPC inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the execution of a mining project worth Rs 3,300 crore in Madhya Pradesh. As per the company’s regulatory filing, the MoU is with the JARPL-AT Consortium, jointly formed by Jai Ambey Roadlines and Avinash Transport for a mining project awarded by South Eastern Coalfields. 

The project pertains to the Rampur Batura Opencast Coal Mine Project, located in the Sohagpur Area of Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh. The aggregate contract value of the project stands at Rs 3,299.51 crore, with an estimated tenure of 10 years. 

SEPC mining project – Key details

As part of the project, SEPC will supply requisite materials, deploy machinery and manpower, provide project management and consultancy services, and deliver other associated services as per the agreed contractual terms and conditions.

“The engagement marks SEPC’s participation in a large-scale, long-duration mining project, further strengthening its mining portfolio. The project follows an asset-light and capital-efficient structure, enabling the company to participate in a high-value contract while maintaining disciplined capital deployment,” the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the order win, Venkataramani Jaiganesh, Managing Director of SEPC , said, “This association strengthens our mining portfolio and further reinforces our strong and diversified order book. It aligns with our focus on long-term projects that offer scale, revenue visibility and execution certainty. The structured nature of the engagement allows us to participate efficiently while leveraging our project management and execution capabilities.”

SEPC Q2FY26 results

For Q2FY26, SEPC reported revenue of Rs 251 crore, up 38% year-on-year, while the company’s net profit stood at Rs 8.3 crore, up significantly from Rs 2.3 crore in the same period last year.

SEPC share price 

Following the announcement of the order win, SEPC’s share price rose by nearly 10%. Over the past five trading sessions, the stock has delivered a return of around 16%.
