Buoyed by the rising penetration of Internet in the country, a top official from Twitter on Saturday said India is one of the fastest growing markets for the micro-blogging site, reports PTI. The US-based networking platform said it will invest more in India, which industry body IAMAI has predicted will surpass the US by December this year in terms of Internet users.
“India is a big market for us. It is one of our fastest growing markets and we will be investing more here,” Twitter VP, global media, Katie Jacobs Stanton said at the HT Leadership Summit in New Delhi on Saturday.
