HCLTech has partnered with German tech company SAP to advance Physical AI solutions, which have real-world applications across industries. In an exchange filing the the Indian IT major said that the two companies will explore next-generation use cases to bring artificial intelligence into physical and industrial environments.
Vijay Guntur, CTO and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said that through the strategic partnership with SAP, the company is pioneering the integration of cognitive robotics with enterprise systems.
“Through this new collaboration with SAP, we are enabling businesses to transform operations, accelerate innovation and realise measurable value from automation at scale,” Vijay Guntur.
Physical AI applications
In the statement, HCLTech highlighted three major use cases of its physical AI. The company said that the collaboration will drive innovation in warehouse operations by developing AI-driven extensions for automated warehouse picking and sorting to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Secondly, the company added that the physical AI will enhance fleet management operations, as its multi-agent AI model optimises logistics at an enterprise scale. Third, HCLTech said, the 3D Reality Capture technology will enable embodied AI use cases for advanced 3D capture, analysis and operational insights.
HCLTech’s collaboration with AWS
Earlier on Tuesday, HCLTech said that it has signed a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services to accelerate innovation in the financial services industry through autonomous. The company said that it will launch a suite of pre-built, industry-compliant solutions aimed at modernising contact centres, enhancing digital engagement and streamlining core platforms across banking, wealth, and insurance.
