Indian tech giant HCL Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with the United States’ major semiconductor company AMD to enhance enterprise digital transformation. The two companies will be teaming up to develop innovation labs and training programs to increase operational efficiency and open new business opportunities.
The innovation labs developed by HCL Technologies and AMD will serve as testing hubs for the two companies. These labs will be employed to conduct proof-of-concept tests and to increase the time to market of the innovative enterprise tools.

Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, said in a statement that combining HCLTech’s expertise in digital transformation with AMD’s industry-leading EPYC, Instinct, and Ryzen PRO processors will enable the company to provide enterprises with customized, future-ready solutions that maximize the potential of AI, cloud computing, and advanced analytics.
HCL’s other partnerships
Earlier this month, HCL Technologies announced the launch of Secure Service Edge, which the company developed in a partnership with Cisco. The Secure Service Edge is a cybersecurity tool that is used for enterprise security and to improve the cyber incident response time.
Similarly, HCL Technologies partnered with Volvo Cars to supply engineering services to the global car manufacturer. The company will support Volvo Cars from its Automotive Centre for Excellence in Gothenburg. Similarly, HCLTech has partnered with the Standard Insurance Company to provide financial protection services.
