Engineers India Limited (EIL) on Saturday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Detect Technologies Private Limited for real time artificial intelligence (AI) based monitoring for implementing safe practices at construction sites and progress monitoring for the clients in India and abroad.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL and Varun Kumar, Chief Business Officer and R Ramachandran, Director, Detect Technologies Private Limited by Rajeev Gupta, Director (Projects), EIL and Tarun Kumar Mishra, Chief Strategy Officer, Detect Technologies Private Limited on 12th April, 2024.
Under the MoU, EIL and Detect Technologies will collaborate to provide real time artificial intelligence (AI) based monitoring for implementing safe practices and progress monitoring at construction sites for various projects being executed by EIL. This MoU, the company added, will facilitate implementation, operation and maintenance of an AI based solution using cameras, drones, and cloud computing for maintaining a safe work environment at site with an objective to avoid loss time accidents/injuries, and monitoring of project progress.
