Bharat Electronics (BEL), a defence PSU, has secured additional orders worth Rs 569 crore since its last disclosure on December 29. In a BSE filing on Thursday, January 1 the company said the major orders received include communication equipment, medical electronics, instant fire detection and suppression systems, upgrades, spares, and services.

The company has not mentioned from which firm it received the orders.

December order inflows at Rs 1,345 crore

Earlier, on December 29, Bharat Electronics had announced that it secured additional orders worth Rs 569 crore since the last disclosure on December 12.

“Major orders received include radars, tank overhaul, communication equipment, fire control systems, simulators, antenna stabilisation systems, security software, components, upgrades, spares and services,” the company said in its BSE filing.

On December 12, Bharat Electronics said it had won additional orders worth Rs 776 crore since the last disclosure on November 14. Major orders included the indigenous Counter Unmanned Aerial System (SAKSHAM), Software Defined Radios, anti-drone systems, communication equipment, medical electronics, gun control systems, weapon control systems, security software, avionics, masts, components, upgrades, spares and services.

With these orders, Bharat Electronics’s total order inflows in December stood at Rs 1,345 crore. Before this the company had also received multiple orders in Novembers.

BEL Q2FY26

In its Q2FY26, Bharat Electronics’s order book position stood at Rs 74,453 crore as on October 1. It reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,287.16 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2026, up 17.79% year-on-year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,792.09 crore, compared to Rs 4,604.9 crore it reported in Q2FY25. Its half-yearly revenue stood at Rs 10,180.48 crore, up from Rs 8,782.18 crore in the first half of FY25.

The share price of Bharat Electronics (BEL) traded flat on Wednesday, closing in the red with a drop of 0.5%. The stock has declined 4.66% in the past one month and 8% in the past six months. However, on a YTD basis, the stock has gained 2806.14%.
