According to an official release, Rounak Adhikary, tech-oriented BSc design student, Lovely Professional University (LPU), is developing technological innovation. Rounak, founder, CEO, ‘ProjectX.Cloud, has developed a cloud-based operating system aimed at eradicating hardware dependency across devices.
It is believed that the project has recently received a boost with an infusion of $200,000 (approximately 1.70 Crore INR) in infrastructure support from Google Cloud.
Sources revealed that the new cloud-based operating system is designed to manage the operation, execution, and processing of virtual machines, servers, and infrastructures running remotely.
To add to the project’s impressive achievements, Rounak is expected to secure seed funding of about 3 million dollars (approx. Rs. 24 Crore INR). The recognition for Rounak’s work started with grants from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Electronics and IT, amounting to Rs. 10 lakh, as per insights from the official release.
