IT company HCLTech has unveiled the HCLTech AI Force extension for GitHub Copilot on the Visual Studio Marketplace, an AI-powered developer tool. This integration aims to enhance software development processes, provide developers with more flexibility, and improve code performance.
The company has partnered with Microsoft to develop the GitHub Copilot Extension. With AI Force, HCLTech aims to assist clients in automating tasks and integrating intelligence throughout various stages of the engineering lifecycle.
HCLTech stated that its AI Force extension, integrated with GitHub Copilot Chat, broadens the range of applications. These include legacy system modernisation, migration, software development, DevOps, automation, support, operations, user feedback, and comprehensive benefits measurement.
