Sun TV Network Limited, a major broadcaster in India, has announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. The company reported revenues of Rs 1,276.11 crore, marking a decrease of 3.2% from Rs 1,317.78 crore in the same quarter last year. Advertisement revenues declined by 4.5%, from Rs. 339.10 crore to Rs 323.77 crore. Domestic subscription revenues fell by 2.2%, from Rs 435.34 crore to Rs 425.79 crore.

EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 706.36 crore, down by 10.2% from Rs 786.46 crore reported in Q1 FY2024. Profit after tax decreased by 6.1%, from Rs 582.80 crore to Rs 546.94 crore. The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs five per share, representing a 100% payout on a face value of Rs five per share.

Sun TV Network claims to manage a diverse portfolio, including satellite television channels in seven languages, FM radio stations across India, and the SunRisers Hyderabad cricket franchise, among other ventures.
