GoKwik, a leading eCommerce enabler, has announced the acquisition of Return Prime, a global returns management app within the Shopify ecosystem. Return Prime, founded in 2021 by Shashwat Swaroop and based in Bengaluru, offers a platform that automates return logistics, refunds, replacements, and other return-related processes, turning returns into revenue opportunities for brands.
This acquisition marks GoKwik’s expansion into international markets, including the UK, Europe, and the US, strengthening its position as a global eCommerce enabler. The move enables brands worldwide to leverage GoKwik’s suite of solutions to drive growth.
With online shopping continuing to rise, particularly post-pandemic, efficient returns management has become crucial for merchants. By acquiring Return Prime, GoKwik aims to enhance customer experience while increasing revenue and customer lifetime value (CLTV) for merchants globally.

Shopify, one of the largest eCommerce platforms globally, processes over $1 trillion in lifetime GMV and operates across 170+ countries. GoKwik, through its acquisition of Return Prime, aims to expand its offering for eCommerce brands. Return Prime currently supports over 6,000 Shopify brands in 50+ countries.
GoKwik states that it plans to onboard over 10,000 new merchants within the next 6 to 12 months, leveraging Return Prime’s existing technology and network. The company anticipates this move will lead to a three times increase in business by the end of the year and potentially a 10X growth over the next three years.

GoKwik’s acquisition of Return Prime comes at a time of rapid growth in the global eCommerce industry. As businesses like Klaviyo in the US make notable moves, the sector continues to expand. GoKwik uses data-driven tech and AI/ML tools to address key challenges faced by eCommerce merchants, such as predicting customer behaviour. With the addition of Return Prime’s expertise in managing returns, GoKwik aims to strengthen its product offerings to better meet the needs of its merchants.
Post-acquisition, GoKwik now supports over 10,000 eCommerce brands, including well-known names like Mamaearth, Mosaic Wellness, Shoppers Stop, and Noise.
