Indian startups Dream11 and OYO dominated media discussions in 2024, with Dream11 producing 35,800 news stories and OYO achieving a cumulative media reach of 33.9 billion, according to Wizikey’s Newsmakers 2024 Report.

According to the report, Dream11 ranked first with a NewsScore of 76.41, bolstered by its extensive coverage and audience engagement in the gaming sector. OYO secured second place with a NewsScore of 68.33, driven by its innovations in hospitality, while BYJU’S ranked third with a NewsScore of 67.14, reflecting its influence in education technology. Other notable companies in the top ten included Zerodha with 66.96, Zepto with 63.77, and Meesho with 61.84.

The report also highlighted the media visibility of Ather Energy at a score of 60.44, PhysicsWallah at 58.61, Boat Lifestyle at 58.32, and Razorpay at 57.36. These startups represented a range of industries, from FinTech and sustainable mobility to quick commerce and consumer electronics.
