Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Aman J Jain, CEO and co-founder, Doodhvale, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
1. What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
I am a blessed father of a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-month-old son. In my more personal time, I love to relive childhood and play with my kids. I am especially fond of the jigsaw puzzles that my daughter is very inquisitively trying.
2. How do you spend your weekends?
To be honest, it isn’t easy to differentiate between a weekday/ weekend in a startup. Given, that we are in a nature of business that demands daily rigour, I tend to be with the teams to support them in whatever manner possible.
However, during my leisure moments on weekends, I try to indulge in one of my passions – following cricket. I enjoy staying updated on the latest matches, scores, and highlights, which provides a refreshing break from the hustle of entrepreneurship.”
3. What are your favourite gadgets?
I am fond of my phone, not just because it helps me manage my tasks, calls, meetings, etc, but because it helps me catch up with the world, and click some funky, precious snaps of my young ones.
4. Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
If I were to choose an alternate career, I would prefer to be a travel blogger. Exploring different cultures, capture breathtaking landscapes, and documenting my adventures would be a dream come true. As a travel blogger, I would have the opportunity to share my experiences, inspire others to explore the world and foster a deeper appreciation for diverse destinations.
5. Which is your favourite vacation spot?
My favourite vacation spot is Barcelona. The vibrant atmosphere, rich history, stunning architecture, and delicious cuisine make it a truly unforgettable destination. Gaudi’s work is truly a masterpiece.
