Coffee brand Blue Tokai has appointed an AI-powered chatbot, Nikki, as its Chief Listening Officer (CLO) to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture. Developed by HR tech company Umwelt. AI, the chatbot will use real-time analytics to track employee sentiment and provide data-driven insights to the company’s HR team.
“Our vision has always been to create a workplace that fosters growth, inclusivity, and well-being. Partnering with Umwelt.AI allows us to take a much more proactive and tech-driven approach to employee experience, ensuring our teams really feel valued and empowered. This will reflect our commitment to innovation not only in coffee but also in our workplace culture,” Sujit Bose, chief human resources officer, Blue Tokai, said.
With a workforce spread across multiple locations, Blue Tokai is looking to address employee concerns more efficiently. From what is understood, the AI tool will allow the company to monitor feedback in real-time, measure engagement levels, and streamline HR processes. The goal is to improve employee satisfaction and reduce attrition through a more responsive approach to workplace management, the company noted.
“At Umwelt. AI, we believe that AI-driven insights play a crucial role in building a positive and thriving workplace culture. With Nikki, our AI chatbot, Blue Tokai can leverage real-time sentiment analysis to gain deeper insights into employee experiences, proactively address concerns, and create a supportive work environment where engagement improves, attrition decreases, and business performance strengthens. By integrating AI-powered solutions, organizations can make more informed decisions that enhance employee well-being and drive long-term success,” Vishal Chopra, founder and CEO, Umwelt. AI, noted.
The initiative is expected to provide Blue Tokai with workforce data that can be used to improve employee engagement strategies and workplace transparency.
