The Job
My days are intentionally repetitive. I believe consistency compounds more than intensity. I begin the morning with quiet time to clear my thinking, then move straight into the business. I stay close to the factory floor, functional teams, and what consumers are actually saying. The office is my happiest space because that’s where real work happens. External engagements are a regular part of the week and help shape perspective, partnerships, and long-term direction, but they never break the core rhythm of execution. The work remains the same: build, review, improve. I end the day grounded, at home with family. That balance keeps me sharp.
The Weekday
I work with a high degree of time discipline and stay closely connected with the team and the day-to-day workings of the business. For a founder, the idea of completely switching off is largely an illusion. What matters is staying clear, responsive, and grounded, so decisions don’t carry unnecessary weight. At the same time, I’m very conscious that for teams, balance and boundaries are essential. Respecting time is how you build focus, trust, and a culture people truly value. That’s how I try to move through each weekday.
The Weekend
My weekends are more relaxed than my weekdays. I usually carve out time to think, ideate, and plan ahead without the noise of daily operations. At the same time, I’m intentional about being present with my two boys and catching up with family and close friends. Work doesn’t disappear, but the pace changes. That combination of thinking quietly and staying connected to family is what works for me.
The Toys
My iPhone is easily the one device I can’t do without. It keeps me constantly connected to the team, the factory, and what’s happening on the ground. I don’t chase too many tools, what matters is speed, clarity, and being reachable when decisions need to be made. Technology, for me, is about reducing friction, not adding complexity.
The Logos
Apple inspires me for its clarity of thought and discipline in execution. It’s a brand that understands the power of focus, doing fewer things exceptionally well, staying close to the user experience, and letting the product speak. That kind of restraint and consistency is very hard to build at scale.
