Starting strong with a Rs 28 crore collection, Dhurandhar collected over Rs 100 crore on its debut weekend. Following its trajectory, the next weekend came as an even bigger wave. Crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in one week alone, there was no stopping the Ranveer Singh starrer, even on weekdays. Collecting another Rs 253 crore in its second week, it showed a slight drop on Day 18, as the Monday blues hit.

However, bouncing back with a fiery third weekend, it maintained its Rs 20 crore streak on Day 22 and 23. Marking the first week with collections below Rs 200 crore, the total tally by then had soared past Rs 500 crore. As the fifth Friday became Dhurandhar’s first single-digit collection day, the day ended at nearly Rs 9 crore. Finally, on Day 30, completing a month at the box office, Aditya Dhar’s directorial grossed nearly Rs 12 crore. Finally, on its final Saturday of the month, Dhurandhar’s box office collection stood at Rs 759 crore in India. After grossing Rs 1167 crore, worldwide (including the domestic collections), it has neared the Rs 1200 crore mark.

The occupancy remained a healthy notch at 25 per cent overall, which was much higher than new releases like Ikkis. Critics and Bollywood speculations estimated that Dhurandhar’s mega-blockbuster success has hit even Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
