In a bid to enhance domestic as well as international connectivity, Air India Express on Tuesday (July 16) announced the commencement of flight operations on two new sectors, linking Mumbai to Kuwait and Mangaluru.
According to a statement released by the airline, this expansion marks a significant increase in the airline’s connectivity from Mumbai, with over 112 weekly flights now operational.
Direct flights to Kuwait from seven Indian cities
With the introduction of these new routes, Air India Express has extended its direct flight services to Kuwait from seven major Indian cities, including Kozhikode, Kannur, Kochi, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Mangaluru, and Mumbai itself.
The airline has also scheduled 24 weekly departures from Kuwait, enhancing accessibility between the Gulf region and key destinations in India.
In addition to direct flights, Air India Express offers convenient one-stop itineraries from Kuwait to various Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.
This strategic expansion aims to cater to the growing demand for air travel and strengthen Air India Express’s position in the international aviation market.
