Satyam Global Solution Centre In Malaysia

Satyam Computers has announced its decision to open its first Global Solution Centre (GSC) in Malaysia.

The announcement coincided with the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad to Satyam Technology Centre in Hyderabad.

Satyams GSC will be set up in close association with the Malaysian government owned Multi-media Development Centre (MDC), which is the nodal agency to oversee the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) initiative.

Satyam chairman B Ramalinga Raju stated, We hope our bonds with Malaysia would strengthen with the establishment of the Global Solutions Centre.

A high-powered Malaysian delegation led by Dr Mahathir visited the Satyam Technology Centre at Bahadurpally about 35 km from Hyderabad accompanied by Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The MSC is a high-tech facility spread across 750 sq km offering state-of-the-art infrastructure, the company stated in a release.

Satyam is setting up the GSC in Malaysia to leverage the advantage the MSC offers in terms of infrastructure and other benefits, to deliver cost-effective solutions to its global customers.
