Five cos to move out of BSE F&O segment from Nov

BSE on Thursday said it will exclude stocks of five companies, including Punj Lloyd and Shree Renuka Sugars, from its derivative segment from November. Among other firms that would be dropped from Futures and Options segment are Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals, Gujarat State Petronet and Opto Circuits (India).

Sesa Goa gains nearly 13% on inclusion in Sensex

Sesa Goa, the Indian unit of oil and mining group Vedanta Resources, gained nearly 13% on inclusion in Sensex in place of another group unit Sterlite Industries. The inclusion would be effective from August 27.
