As the pulls and pressure mounted on the top central leaders of the BJP, the party?s parliamentary board in its meeting on Thursday failed to take a decision to quell the growing factional crisis in its Rajasthan unit.
The highest decision making body of the party met for the second consecutive day to deliberate on the simmering dissent in Rajasthan but could not arrive at any decision, as concensus eluded them on the issue of removing state unit chief Mahesh Sharma.
Faced with intra-party rebellion against chief minister Vasundhara Raje and state leadership, the high command has been toying with the idea of replacing Sharma, a staunch Raje loyalist.
