Rinku Singh
Rinku Singh is a middle-order, left-handed batsman with big shots and injury-proof characteristics. He is from Aligarh, a town in Uttar Pradesh, was born on 12th October 1997. He He made his international debut T20I against Ireland in August 2023 and soon made a niche for himself as a reliable finisher. In 33 T20Is, he has scored 546 runs in an impressive average of 42 with a strike rate of 161.06, including three fifties. Rinku also made his ODI debut in December 2023 against South Africa, where he proved to be an all-round player by scoring 55 runs in two matches and taking one wicket in his first over.
In the IPL, his journey started with Kings Eleven Punjab in 2017, but it was actually Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who picked him up in 2018 that really catapulted Rinku to new heights. His breakthrough came in IPL 2023 when he smashed five consecutive sixes in the final over against Gujarat Titans, a feat that made his name in IPL history. Rinku has amassed 905 runs in 46 IPL matches at an average of 30.17 and a strike rate of 142.97, including four fifties. Performing under pressure coupled with great consistency has made him a favorite among fans and an integral part of KKR.
