Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has today said he hoped to say former US President Barack Obama one day buying bed sheet which are made in Uttar Prdesh. Speaking at a rally in Uttar Pradesh today, with days ahead of state Assembly polls set to begin, he expressed his desire to see Obama not only buying bedsheet made in the state, it the product should also have ‘Made in Uttar Prdesh’ written on it.
Rahul Gandhi had yesterday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of laughing on the earthquake tragedy, but not answering the questions on the demonetisation. Attacking him further on the later’s comment on surgery remark on the economy, he said a quack endangers life”.
In December last year, the Congress vice president said he had some informations against Prime minister Narendra Modi and there would be an earthquake in the Parliament if he speaks on it. Speaking in the Lok Sabha yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said he was wondering how it happened and had heard of the threat long back.
The remark by Gandhi had come after Narendra modi while defending demonetisation in his speech in the Lok Sabha had said that economy was doing well and thus decision was taken at the right time.”
He was replying to the debate on Motion of Thanks to President’s address to the joint sitting of Parliament . The Congress also accused him of hurting the dignity of Uttarakhand by mocking the tragedy.
