South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to introduce Galaxy J7+ — a dual-camera smartphone for the mid-range segment, news agency IANS reports. The report, quoting Thailand-based website “ThaiMobileCenter”, says that Samsung Galaxy J7+ is likely to sport a new “ISOCELL” dual image sensors. The phone is expected to be launched with specifications such as full-metal body and 5.5-inch full-HD display. Samsung may launch this device with the dual camera supporting company’s new “Live Focus” portrait mode. On the processor’s part, the smartphone is likely to be launched with Octa-core 2.4GHz chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD support.
Phone’s battery could be 3,000 mAh strong. The device is likely to be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS installed aided by own Bixby smart assistant onboard. J7+ is likely to sport dual rear cameras with 13MP f/1.7 and 5MP f/1.9 second sensor. The phone may pack a higher 16MP selfie camera on the front. However, the report doesn’t clearly mention about the type of autofocus would the smartphone feature of if optical image stabilisation would be included. The company is expected to launch J7+ smartphone in black, pink, and gold colours.
The phone will be an addition to Samsung’s J series. Recently, Samsung had unveiled Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro devices at Rs 17,900 and Rs 20,900 respectively for the Indian market. “The J series smartphones of Samsung are most sought-after devices in the mid-segment section in India,” Sumit Walia, Director Mobile Business, Samsung, had told reporters, as per IANS. The two new additions to the J series were launched with 13MP rear camera and LED flash and a front camera that is 13MP with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
