Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on a two-day visit to poll bound state of Gujarat to campaign for BJP, seems pretty confident of the party’s win in state assembly elections. He believes that the development works that the party has undertaken in the state will make elections a cakewalk for the party. On being asked about chances of BJP securing over 150 seats in the Gujarat elections, he told ANI, “Easy target for BJP as development and infrastructure work done here is a symbol of trust”. Adityanath also took a jibe at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi saying “Samjho jahan Rahul Gandhi prachaar karne chale gaye, wahan Congress ki haar pakki (If Rahul Gandhi goes to campaign somewhere, Congress is sure to lose),” as per an Indian Express report.

He added that Rahul Gandhi gets mocked due to his child-like activities. During the interaction with ANI, he also opened up on the controversial ‘Ram Mandir (temple)’. He said, “Ram mandir humare liye chunav ka mudda nahi hai, yeh humari aastha ka prateek hai (Ram Mandir is not an election issue for us but it is the symbol of our faith).

Yogi Adityanath also took part in Gujarat Gaurav Yatra and he was recently in Kerala as part of the BJP’s Jan Raksha Yatra as well.
