US President Donald Trump has sparked fresh debate after being photographed exiting the White House on Monday morning. Social media users — previously convinced that the POTUS had died — now fear he is undergoing extensive medical treatment. Many noted that the Republican looked “unrecognisable” in the latest photos while others wondered if he had somehow lost all his hair overnight.
Photos of Trump playing golf with his grandchildren over the weekend did not dispel the rumours and later images of the POTUS have only served to intensify claims about his ill health. A growing number of social media users appear convinced that Donald Trump suffered a stroke last week — contending that there was simply no alternative. Multiple posts across platforms also noted that Trump had (rather uncharacteristically) avoided speaking to the media or getting close to their cameras.
‘Trump genuinely looks terrible’
“Where’s his hair???” asked one baffled X user.
“Today’s press pool photo shows Trump leaving the White House this morning. I enhanced the image. And seriously, can an expert explain what the hell is happening to his forehead? Right above his nose and right brow,” wrote another user while zooming in on the oddly folded skin.
“My best guess is he had to have his head shaved so doctors could perform surgery to relieve brain pressure because Trump’s suffering from hydrocephalus (water on the brain.) They may have implanted a shunt to help relieve excess brain fluid,” claimed another.
“Wow. Trump genuinely looks terrible. This isn’t something to brush off. He still hasn’t spoken to reporters. Very concerning,” read a post on Threads.
“I think he had a stroke. If these pictures we’ve seen lately are really him and he won’t talk to anyone…it is very likely he had a stroke. And it’s crazy that the American people know nothing about his condition or his ability to lead this country. It’s a huge security risk,” agreed another user.
‘Trump sparks ischemic stroke buzz
Trump himself has pushed back against the allegations of his ill health (and untimely demise) — dismissing the claims as unfounded speculation. Vice President JD Vance also publicly affirmed last week that the President was in “incredibly good health.” But the addendum — that he was ready to take over “if something terrible happened” to Trump failed to reassure most people.
“Never felt better in my life,” Trump insisted in an all-caps Truth Social post on Monday.
The rumour mill however begged to differ — with a varied range of conspiracy theories cropping up despite his insistence. Some remain convinced that the White House had trotted out a body double for the now-viral golfing photos of Trump. Others saw evidence of his impending demise in a freshly cancelled visit to India and new rules restricting journalist access to the President. The two most popular theories appear to be an ischemic stroke or a heart attack — with body doubling as a distant third. The latest photos seem to have only solidified speculation about Trump suffering a severe medical mishap.
