Following a medical examination conducted at her Bani Gala residence, a three-member medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has recommended a “gastroenterology review” for Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, reported Geo News.
The team visited Bibi after she complained of acidity and chest pain. It consists of Dr Bushra Liaquat, Dr Hira, Dr Sidra, and a cardiologist.
During the examination, the team advised Bibi to make changes in her dietary habits and lifestyle. The medical evaluation lasted for nearly 75 minutes. The medical team also recommended the “gastroenterology review” to assess any underlying gastrointestinal issues, reported Geo News.
Comprehensive medical evaluation
Last week, at a private hospital in Islamabad, Imran Khan’s wife underwent a comprehensive medical evaluation. The evaluation was done under the supervision of Khan’s family physician, Dr Asim Yousuf. As per reports, her all medical reports were normal. However, doctors diagnose only a minor gastric issue.
Following legal proceedings, her house in Bani Gala is currently functioning as a sub-jail. In response to her health concerns, the medical team’s visit to her residence occurred on Monday night at 11 pm.
Recently, Khan alleged that his wife, Bushra Bibi was given food mixed with “toilet cleaner”.
