Money cannot buy happiness. True. But one can buy a customised Rolls-Royce with a lot of money. Indian businessman in Dubai Satish Sanpal may have just set a new benchmark for extravagant parenting. Sanpal gifted his one-year-old daughter Isabella, a custom-built pink Rolls-Royce on Father’s Day. The car is complete with monogrammed interiors, a personal note and a nameplate reading “Congratulations, Isabella”.

The lavish reveal, shared via Instagram, showed Sanpal, who is founder of real-estate firm ANAX Developments, arrived at the Rolls-Royce showroom with his wife and their toddler in tow. And they reached the showroom in their own Rolls-Royce. The video further showed pink balloons decorated, upbeat music and dancing, culminating in the dramatic unveiling of the luxury vehicle for their daughter.

The Instagram handle @loveindubai shared the video with the caption, “Satish Sanpal just won Father’s Day… Such a Dubai Dad move.” However, it was not Isabella’s first encounter with opulence. In February, her first birthday party at Atlantis The Royal turned heads across the region. The venue was transformed into a winter wonderland theme, complete with artificial snow, sparkling chandeliers and a princess-worthy carriage entrance. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Atif Aslam and Nora Fatehi also performed at the event.

While social media was quick to marvel at the display, netizens were not all impressed. “It must be a really nice feeling when you get gifted something so special, knowing you can’t use it for the next 17 years,” one user commented. Another user wrote, “Small kids are the happiest with empty containers. A Rolls-Royce? Really?” A third user commented on the post, “If it was really for the daughter he wouldn’t have paid Lovin Dubai to post about it. This whole thing is about himself, not for the daughter.”

“Good Luck of not running out of gift ideas by the time she is 18, you might need to buy something that is not available on this planet,” a comment on the post read.
