Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been granted leave from India’s lineup ahead of the fourth Test against England, while KL Rahul remains sidelined as he continues to recover from his injury.

In an official statement released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, Bumrah‘s absence from the upcoming Test was attributed to his recent workload and the duration of the series. As a result, Mukesh Kumar, who was previously released from the squad for the third Test in Rajkot, has rejoined the team for the match in Ranchi.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul, who has been dealing with an injury including right quadriceps pain, will miss his third consecutive Test. His availability for the final Test in Dharamsala will depend on his fitness progress.
