Budget wishlist from Mitsubishi Electric India:

“We are expecting some crucial announcements in the budget 2015-16. The most important one being the reform of direct taxation system, the government should provide a simplified tax regime ahead of the budget this year. Goods and Services Tax (GST) will bring about a change in the tax system by redistributing the burden of taxation equitably between the manufacturing and services sectors. GST will enable broadening of the tax base, which will further result in the reduction of effective rate of tax. Though Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi started the “Make In India” programme, we are yet to see ground realities in forms of reforms.
