Vodafone Idea’s share price has risen almost 9% to an intra-day high of Rs 6.69 on the National Stock Exchange. The uptick in the stock price came after the company reported its quarterly results for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26.
Vodafone Idea’s total customer base in the quarter stood at 19.77 crore. The company said that it lost 5 lakh customers in the quarter, which was a significant improvement from the previous quarters when it was losing 50 lakh customers.
Plus, VI’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) grew by 15% YoY to Rs 177 Q1 FY26 from Rs 154 in Q1 FY25.
Vodafone Idea’s revenue recovered with a 4.89% YoY growth in the quarter. The telecom operator posted a consolidated revenue of Rs 11,022 crore in Q1 FY26, as against Rs 10,508 crore posted in Q1 FY25.
However, Vodafone Idea’s consolidated losses increased by 2.74% YoY in the first quarter of FY26 to Rs 6,608 crore in Q1 FY26 against a loss of Rs 6,432 crore in Q1 FY25.
Vodafone Idea’s EBITDA margin improved to 41.8% in Q1 FY26 from 40% in Q1 FY25.
Vodafone Idea Q4 2025 results
Vodafone Idea posted a net loss of Rs 7,166 crore, bringing it down by 6.62% YoY in the fourth quarter of FY25 from Rs 7,674 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. The ARPU for the quarter surged to Rs 164, up from Rs 163, Rs 156, and Rs 146 in the preceding three quarters, respectively.
The company’s revenue increased by 3.8% YoY to Rs 11,013.5 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 10,606.8 crore.

The share price of Vodafone Idea has fallen 1.8% in the last five trading sessions. The stock has declined by more than 16% in the last one month and 20% in the past six months. Vodafone Idea’s share price has erased 60% of investors’ wealth in the last one year.
