Logistics companies remained in limelight on Dalal Street on Thursday on hopes that the state elections will boost chances of the passage of key Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill.
Shares of Gati and Snowman Logistics surged as much as 10.27 per cent and 6.70 per cent. Allcargo Logistics and VRL Logistics also soared 9.9 per cent and 6.17 per cent intraday.

After winning the assembly elections in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee said, “We have ideological differences with BJP but we will always support on issues that are beneficial to the people. We will support GST.”
Elections results also raised hope that BJP will face less resistance in Rajya Sabha where Congress and its allies still hold a significant presence.
