IT giant, Infosys prepares to announce its Q4 earnings for FY25, all eyes are on whether the conglomerate can turn the tide after a rough ride on the bourses. The company’s share price has tumbled over 25% so far this year, raising concerns about what is dragging the tech bellwether down and whether today’s results can offer a glimmer of hope to its investors.
Ahead of the announcement of the result, the share price of the IT giant today in the early morning is trading down by 2%, trading at Rs 1,391.00.
Infosys share price: From peaks to plunge
The Infosys share price has been on a rollercoaster ride. From hitting a 52-week high of Rs 2,006.45 on December 13, 2024, it has now slipped nearly 35% to trade near Rs 1,391. The shares hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,307 on April 7, 2025.
Over the past five days, the share price has slipped by around 2%, while the monthly drop stands at a sharper 14%. Zooming out at a longer timeframe, the six-month performance paints an even bleaker picture with a steep 30% decline. Year-to-date, the stock is down nearly 25%. Even on a yearly basis, Infosys hasn’t been able to regain lost ground, posting a marginal dip of 2.9%.
With a market capitalisation of Rs 5.79 lakh crore, Infosys remains a heavyweight in India’s IT sector.
All Set for Q4 earnings: Date, time, and more
Infosys will announce its financial results for the fourth quarter and full financial year ending March 31, 2025, today, April 17. The board meeting, which began on April 16, will conclude today with the company announcing its performance this afternoon.
“Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, will announce results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2025 on Thursday, April 17, 2025 around 3:45 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) (6:15 a.m. ET; 3:15 a.m. PST; 11:15 a.m. London time; 6:15 p.m. Singapore/Hong Kong time),” said the company in an exchange filing.
Following the results, the Infosys leadership team is scheduled to hold a press conference at 4:15 pm, followed by a detailed investor and analyst call at 5:30 pm.
Dividend watch: Will the IT giant reward its shareholders again?
Alongside the Q4 results, the board will also decide on a final dividend for FY25. While the tech giant has made no announcement about it yet, but it had earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs 21 per equity share for this fiscal, with the ex-date being October 29, 2024.
If announced, the final dividend could offer some relief to long-term shareholders amid the stock’s prolonged downturn.

In the previous quarter (Q3FY25), Infosys reported an 11.4% year-on-year growth in net profit to Rs 6,806 crore, while revenue rose 7.6% to Rs 41,764 crore. Operating expenses, too, saw a marginal rise of 3.5% to Rs 3,732 crore.
