Since the time Facebook took over WhatsApp, it is trying to improve its features and have rolled many updates. The recent four changes made to WhatsApp includes videos and emojis. WhatsApp latest version 2.16.7 has enhance video recording via app as the recording can be zoom in and zoom out. You just need to slide your fingers up and down.
The next big change is enlarged emoji size. If you will send one emoji at a time, it will appear much larger than the existing emoji size. But if you will more than one emoji, it will appear the size it use to appear now. The third next change allows you to quickly mark as read, delete and archive multiple chats by using ‘Edit’ option at the top of the chats. The fourth and last update is for faster chatting as the chats will open quickly. Though, for it, WhatsApp already has screen notification option which allows user to see and reply on a chat without opening the app. These options are surely set to enhance your chatting experience, but you have to wait for the latest version to reach you. In May this year, WhatsApp has launched its desktop app, in line with WhatsApp web. But it has not enabled the direct access. A user has to scan the QR code to get access to WhatsApp even he is using the desktop app.
“The new desktop app is available for Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9+ and is synced with WhatsApp on your mobile device. Because the app runs natively on your desktop, you’ll have support for native desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts, and more,” posted WhatsApp on its blog.
One of the largest chatting app, WhatsApp claimed last month that over 100 million users are making voice calls every day – “that’s over 1,100 calls a second!”.
