Samsung quietly launched two mid-budget tablets — Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. This comes after the launch of two FE tablets— the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
The newly released Samsung tablets start at Rs 12,999 for the base variant with Wi-Fi-only capability.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, Tab A9+: Price, availability
The new Samsung Galaxy Tabs is available for pre-orders exclusively on Amazon India. The official sales began on Oct 17, as per the listing. The base variant comes in sole 4GB+46GB configuration, while the top variant comes in 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB variants.
As per the Amazon listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 costs Rs 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB Wi-Fi-only variant. Meanwhile, the same Wi-Fi+5G variant comes at Rs 15,999.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ costs Rs 20,999 for the 128GB+8GB Wi-Fi only variant, and the 128GB+8GB Wi-Fi+5G variant pricing is unavailable at the moment.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, Tab A9+: Specifications, Features
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 boasts an 8.7” WQXGA (1920×1200) display with 60Hz refresh rate support. Meanwhile, Tab A9+ features 11” WQXGA (800 × 1340 pixels) with 60Hz refresh rate support.
Under the hood, Tab A9 houses a MediaTek Helio G99 with Mali G57 GPU, and Tab A9+ houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with Adreno 619 GPU. There’s also a gap in battery mAh: Tab A9 gets 5,100mAh battery and Tab A9+ gets 7,040mAh battery.
In terms of camera, Tab A9 features 8MP on the rear, and 2MP on the front. And, Tab A9+ features the same 8MP on the rear, however, a 5MP lens on the front.
Both boot up to Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 and come in three colour options—Silver, Grey and Dark Blue.
