Redmi Note 13 series India launch
Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is the top-end model in the Redmi Note 13 series.

Xiaomi is gearing for its big Redmi Note 13 series launch in India on January 4, 2024. Three new phones are incoming— Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. Each of these phones has its own key stand-out feature with the “pro plus” getting the most high-end specs including a curved screen and IP68 rating. Follow up to the Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi will be banking heavily on the Note 13 line-up, especially considering the legacy of the “note”. These phones are known to offer the best of specs at the least possible prices, and so, it would be interesting to see how Xiaomi prices the Note 13.

For what it’s worth, the Redmi Note 13 series looks solid on paper. There’s lots to like and lots to discuss. Each of these new phones rocks a different chip and features a distinct design language and so presumably, we’re going to see much more differentiation with these models at their respective price points. The Redmi Note 13 series in India is expected to pack the same hardware as its China counterpart. A lot of the specs have already been confirmed by Xiaomi India, too, leading into the launch.
