Nothing has announced the launch date for its next product. The London-based technology company will take the wraps off a new smartphone on March 4, 2025 on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress (MWC). An India launch is on the cards, possibly at the same time as global markets.
Nothing says the upcoming device “could redefine the way we experience technology” without revealing any other details. More details should arrive closer to launch. Those who want to stay up to date with all the latest news on this unannounced product can sign up on nothing.tech and Flipkart.
A photo banner accompanying today’s “reveal” has teased what appears to be a smartphone camera array, possibly with three sensors. The module has glyph lights on the outside, a hallmark Nothing feature. Cryptic texts like “get closer” and “power in perspective” hint at a zoom camera and powerful processor.
There is the possibility that Nothing might launch the Phone 3a on March 4. The Phone 2a was launched at around the same time last year. But this is only speculation as Nothing is also confirmed to launch the Nothing Phone 3 sometime this year. So, it could be anything at this point.
An internal email allegedly from Carl Pei, leaked online recently, in which the Nothing founder and CEO teased had teased the Phone 3 and a “landmark” launch, set for some time in Q1. The email also talked about Nothing’s ongoing work around cameras and software and how it was expanding their teams by “almost 50 percent” to build “even better products.”
“This year will mark the launch of our flagship Nothing Phone 3. It will introduce breakthrough innovations in user interface, taking our first step toward our Al-powered platform,” Pei was quoted as saying in the email. “We’re aiming at redefining the user experience of personal computing devices – creating technology that knows you, makes your life easier, and is present where you are. Technology that enables us to achieve our greatest creative potential.”
